5 Easy Ways You Can "Move The Pack"
1. Make a monetary donation
Don't think you can make a difference? Think again! If everyone that "likes" our Facebook page donated just $70, the pack would already be in their new home! Your gift matters, no matter the size. Donate now.
2. Sponsor an animal
Become a hero by pledging to sponsor an animal. Your sponsorship will directly contribute toward building a new home for your sponsored animal and its pack-mates, ensuring their safety and comfort. All animal sponsors will be honored on a plaque for the sponsored enclosure, and will receive a framed 8x10 print of the sponsored animal(s), invitations to exclusive events, a Wildlife Science Center tote bag, and recognition on our Facebook page!
3. Donate time, materials, and/or connections
Friends of the Wildlife Science Center is a community of individuals, organized through Facebook, that are dedicated to supporting WSC in any way possible. This includes donating time, money, talents, materials, and/or doing their best to raise awareness about who WSC is and what we do. By "liking" the Facebook page and signing up for the email list, you can stay informed on what you can do to help Move The Pack. Watch for updates on building materials needed, proposed volunteer projects, and political action that can be taken.
4. Contact your legislators
Go HERE to find government representatives you can contact, such as your state senator, representative, or local council member. To find those directly involved with our area, use our address: 5436 W. Broadway Ave, Columbus, MN 55025. We need more than 6 months to make a safe move. Ask your legislators to make the DNR give us more time, allowing us to stay through the end of our lease in March 2017.
5. Spread the word
Please ask everyone you know to become familiar with our mission and the "Move The Pack" campaign. The more people we have engaged, the sooner we will be able to meet our fundraising goal and get the animals to their new home. You can share our donation links (http://tinyurl.com/MoveThePack) or our website (http://www.wildlifesciencecenter.org/). “Like” our Facebook page to stay current on what we’re doing to raise awareness, and be sure to comment on and share our posts so they get maximum exposure. You can also change your social media profile pictures to the below image to raise awareness while showing your support.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! Together, we can Move The Pack!
