Winter Festival

Discover the world of the dog sledder during a day of winter fun at the Wildlife Science Center. Mushers and their dog teams will be on-hand to meet and inform participants about this incredible winter sport. The day's activities include demonstrations by local experts on equipment and techniques, games for kids, campfires, and the opportunity to see and learn about the Wildlife Science Center's amazing animals. Feel free to bring your own dog but please bring a leash.

Dog sled rides available from 11:30 to 3:30 for an additional fee.

$10.00 for adults; $7.00 for kids

Event takes place with or without snow.

Noon to 12:30 – Wolves of the Western Great Lakes Region – Peggy Callahan (Executive Director)

1:00 to 1:30 – Minnesota Raptors – Roberta Ryan (Animal Care/ Education Assistant)

2:00 to 2:30 – Animals Nobody Loves – Bob Ebsen (Education Director)

3:00 to 3:30 – Wolves of the Western Great Lakes Region – Peggy Callahan (Executive Director)
